IF YOU CAN'T REMEMBER ME FOR WHO I WAS, DON'T REMEMBER ME AT ALL

I don't want to end up Just like the last sip of beer That you took before you gave up on alcohol. A reminder of something bitter and sour. Nor do I want to be one of those occasional thought which passes through your mind Or a story of a bitter past When you tell some future woman about my crimes. To make her love you more because I lost. If i'm to be in your retrospect at all I want to be as one who once belonged. One who once loved. I'd rather be a faceprint on your shirt, A lip print on your cup, A hand print in your life Or never cross your mind at all! (Inspired by Oye's note on friendship and break ups)
